Next Wednesday is a company holiday with required office attendance. We ordered enough copies of Starcraft II for every employee and we're going to be playing with it all day!

This is what the valley is like!

We have a bunch of fairly beefy desktops that were intended for some in car project (beefy because it was lead by a bunch of designers who loved nothing more than to rain down ridiculous software requirements [different 1080p videos on like five screens at once? Sure, why not]). Since the project is basically dead now, we should hijack them and play SCII on them.

Of course, this won't happen. Plus they aren't exactly power efficient so we can't grab them for servers or anything.

I am downloading the installer right now. Apparently I can't play it until 1 pm on tuesday though. I suppose I will have to survive until then.

So am I!! And I was supposed to get three-day shipping, but it was recorded as five-day shipping (and it's too late to change the order)...

Blizzards bandwidth is disappointing. I am on the OSU network and only getting 500 kB/s.

Maybe they should have staggered the release, giving it to people in the SF bay area first, then everyone else second.

Hooray for blizzards hour long wait for phone support to deactivate authenticators! Guess I wasn't the only one to lose theirs.

Today's the day! I think I'm going to escape from work early to pick it up. Not complaining, but Gamestop ended up sending my package as a UPS three day shipment rather than USPS five day (even though it says five-day on the website, and they even thought the tracking number was for USPS).

I don't think I have any intention of getting my site working again. It never really served any purpose anyway; maybe I'll just post a resume and call it a day.

So this game pretty much kicks ass. Online play is really intense. Someday I will get the chance to play the campaign. There are always people online playing!

Campaign is pretty amazing. Haven't dabbled in any 3v3 or 4v4 yet, but 2's with asians were fun in beta.
